It is nice when you know how to speech: look at Al Pacino
OK, it may be easy, because it is in a movie. But look at it with ‘speech-quality’-glasses and learn & listen. And remember the importance of a good speech, which everybody needs to practise over and over again.
By the way: the coach of the Dutch footbalclub FC Twente used this speech to motivate his players before they had to play AJAX, the other Amsterdam footbalclub. He took images of their play and put this speech as sound under their own movie. And they won!
Never underestimate a well written and performed speech. Think Kennedy, Think Martin Luther King, Think Mandela: why won’t it work for you too? Inspiring leaders and changemakers tell inspiring stories. And as we know from Seth Godin (in his talk about Tribes): everyone is a leader.
